Fair Use Policy
D Line calling and texting are unlimited under this policy. There are no per-minute or per-text overage charges.
What Unlimited Means
Every D Line plan includes unlimited calling to the US and Canada, and unlimited texting once business texting (SMS/10DLC) is active on your workspace. Unlimited is meant for the normal business communication of the people in your workspace: talking to customers, colleagues, vendors, and partners.
You are never billed per minute or per message for calls and texts covered by your plan.
Normal Business Use
Normal business use is up to:
- 5,000 calling minutes per user per month
- 2,000 text messages per user per month
A user is an active extension in your workspace. Usage is measured per calendar month.
What Happens Above These Levels
If a workspace goes above these levels, the account is flagged for review. We will contact you to understand how the line is being used.
- You are not charged for the extra minutes or texts.
- Service is not suspended automatically for exceeding these levels.
- If the usage is not normal business use, we will work with you on a plan that fits, such as adjusting how the line is used or a custom arrangement.
Prohibited Uses
Unlimited calling and texting may not be used for:
- Autodialers, including predictive, progressive, or power dialers
- Robocalls or prerecorded and artificial-voice calls
- Bulk or unsolicited text messages, including spam and mass marketing blasts
These uses are also restricted by our Terms of Service and by laws such as the TCPA. Prohibited use can lead to suspension under the Terms of Service.
What Unlimited Does Not Cover
International calls, toll-free numbers, and 10DLC registration are billed as shown on the pricing page and in your workspace billing settings; international rates are available on request. Number porting is free.
Calls to Caribbean and other non-US/Canada +1 destinations are not included and are blocked by default.
